Walt has an old quote, dated around 1940, about the creation of Mickey Mouse. It explains that his previous struggles led him to find success. He said: “Mickey Mouse was born on my drawing pad in a Manhattan-to-Hollywood train journey twenty years earlier when our business fortunes had plummeted and disaster appeared imminent.”
Walt Disney is a good manager because he created a workplace that was both productive and stress-free. A leader who is positive, who balances professionalism with fun and has a positive outlook on life will create the best working environment for employees. He inspired people through his optimism and imagination.
