Why Walt Disney Is A Leader In His Own Level

Only a few people can be leaders among 7.5 billion others. Over the past couple of years, I’ve learned a lot about a leader who made dreams come true. Walt Disney is a leader who was unique. Walt Disney was a leader of a different kind. He was disciplined when needed, but also had fun.

Walt was an example-driven leader. He was a strong leader who led by example. He once stated “Laughter and imagination are timeless. Dreams never age.” I know leaders and managers that have let power fill their heads. The power-hungry leaders forget that their employees have feelings and should be supported, not pushed down.

Walt Disney is a man who pursued his ideas no matter what anyone else said. His perseverance, optimism, and willingness to take risks led him to success. “I’m always looking at the bright side of things, but I also know how complex life can be.” Walt often acknowledged the hardwork of his teammates, unlike many leaders who would rather take the credit. Walt changed jobs frequently when he was young. In order to be a leader and manager in the entertainment and arts world, you need to work at multiple jobs. This will help you find out what interests you. Walt faced numerous failures and multiple jobs before he was able to create Mickey Mouse. Walt has an old quote, dated around 1940, about the creation of Mickey Mouse. It explains that his previous struggles led him to find success. He said: “Mickey Mouse was born on my drawing pad in a Manhattan-to-Hollywood train journey twenty years earlier when our business fortunes had plummeted and disaster appeared imminent.”

Walt Disney is a good manager because he created a workplace that was both productive and stress-free. A leader who is positive, who balances professionalism with fun and has a positive outlook on life will create the best working environment for employees. He inspired people through his optimism and imagination. He said: “All of the difficulties and obstacles I’ve faced in my life have strengthened my character… You might not realize it at the time, but sometimes a good kick in your teeth is the best thing that can happen to you.”

Walt Disney is a person who has created fun, entertainment and a positive environment both for employees and park guests. He was a confident leader who all of his followers admired, adored, and ultimately followed. His leadership skills would make him a less inspiring and productive leader.
